Redwood Schools exist so that all students with literacy struggles can access their dreams. By cultivating hope and restoring confidence, we help students dramatically improve their literacy skills regardless of socio-economic background or learning differences.

Redwood Schools is seeking mission-aligned professionals to join our Board. Being a member of Redwood Schools’ Board provides you with a unique opportunity to:

• Contribute to the success of current Redwood Schools programs (Redwood DAY and Redwood @ Alcuin) and build new partnerships. 

• Promote equity in reading intervention services for kids with dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia in Chicago.

• Collaborate with like- minded individuals to actualize Redwood Schools’ strategic plan.

• Expand your network by serving with experts in the scholastic community.

The main purpose of Redwood’s Board is to help guard our mission and support the work that we are doing to promote accessible school services in Chicagoland.  We need your unique talents, insight, and collaboration to be the best we can be for the students of Chicago.  

Please note: Joining Redwood's Advisory Board is a multi-step process, the first of which is completing the application below. Redwood carefully considers each applicant to ensure Board Members align with and enhance Redwood's mission, goals, and values.  Upon completion of this form, Redwood will review your responses and reach out to you directly to discuss next steps.
